Licensed Therapist
Haley Diaz, MS, LPC-Associate
Haley works with adults, couples, and teens (13+) who feel overwhelmed, emotionally heavy, or disconnected…often after years of managing things on their own. Some come in with anxiety, lingering depression, or relationship stress; others just know their nervous system hasn’t felt settled in a long time.
Many of the people Haley works with have always felt a bit like the outsiders…the too sensitive, the too intense, the ones who learned early that blending in was safer than being known. Over time, this often shows up as emotional heaviness, overthinking, or holding everything together while struggling on the inside.
Her approach is warm, real, and a little offbeat. With Haley, you don’t have to be polished or palatable. Together, you’ll explore the stories you inherited, understand the parts of you that learned to protect you, and begin building ways of relating that feel more grounded and authentically your own.
Haley supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and the long-term effects of trauma, including religious trauma, LGBTQIA+–related stress, and cultural or bicultural experiences. She also works closely with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, holding this work with care and deep respect for each person’s pace.
If you’ve ever felt misunderstood or like you had to tone yourself down to be accepted, you’ll find room to breathe here.

Haley’s Approach
Haley is IFS-informed and trauma-focused, integrating parts work, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and person-centered approaches. Her work helps clients understand their internal world while gently challenging old narratives shaped by fear, shame, or survival.
Rather than fixing or pushing, Haley focuses on helping you build awareness and compassion for the parts of you that have been working overtime to keep you safe. Together, you’ll explore the stories you inherited, understand how coping strategies developed, and begin building new ways of relating that feel more grounded and authentic.
For couples, Haley supports partners in slowing reactive cycles, improving communication, and understanding how past experiences shape present dynamics, especially when disconnection or misunderstanding has taken hold.
